New Hope for Pennsylvania’s Bats

There may be some hope for bat populations in Pennsylvania that have been devastated by white nose disease. Professor DeeAnn Reeder, biology, tells the Pittsburgh City Paper that populations in some colonies affected by the disease appear to have stabilized and stopped declining.
