Professor Michelle Beiler

Professor Michelle Beiler, civil & environmental engineering, was the co-author on a recently published study that compares the practices of several metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) in the Mid-Atlantic region now and prior to Hurricane Sandy, which stuck in October 2012. This recent piece in Informed Infrastructure, a trade publication for construction engineers, explores the findings of Beiler and her research group.

Earlier this year, Beiler shared some insights into what local municipalities such as MPOs are doing to develop sustainable transportation options for a Bucknell Answers piece.
