John Nicklow ’92, M’93 Named University of New Orleans President

John Nicklow ’92, M’93, a Bucknell University alumnus, was recently named the new president at the University of New Orleans. Nicklow moves into the role of president from his previous job as provost and vice president of academic affairs at UNO. Prior to that, he was the provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs at Southern Illinois University, where he also held several other positions including professor and associate dean of the College of Engineering.

Nicklow has both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Bucknell, as well as a doctorate in civil engineering from Arizona State. His wife, Stacy Nicklow ’93, is also a graduate of Bucknell.
