Can Older Adults be a Resource for Combatting Climate Change?

Former Bucknell University Provost Mick Smyer, who is currently taking a sabbatical from the university as he prepares for a fellowship, recently had an article published on The Conversation. In it, he calls for political leaders to engage older adults on climate issues, theorizing that older adults are currently an untapped resource in the ongoing effort to educate the populace about climate change.

This follows a similar piece that Prof. Smyer wrote earlier this year that appeared on CNN’s website and was also featured on ‘Ray Bucknell.

Grandfather and Granddaughter Examining GlobeProf. Smyer will return to Bucknell as a Professor of Psychology following a fellowship at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) at Stanford University during the spring 2016 semester.
